Workshops at St John's Church Hall, Yeadon
Generally, the day workshops will be run as a practical workshop with demonstrations and individual tuition and are suitable for all levels of ability. Please see individual workshops for more details.
Full day workshops will run from 10am to 4pm and the cost will be £25. There is a £10 deposit per person, per workshop, which is non-refundable in case of cancellation, unless your place is filled. Refreshments throughout the day will be provided, but please bring a packed lunch.

| Brick stitch Variations - Saturday 25th April Come along and make some pretty jewellery for summer. Colours could be delicate and understated or bold and funloving. The more experienced beadweavers could make a vessel or one of the more advanced items. Basic Ladder stitch and Brick stitch will be covered as well as variations and embellishments for the more experienced beadweaver. |
| The Art of Bead Embroidery Learn the art of bead embroidery while making a pendant or cuff. You will be learn how to design the pendant, the materials to use and the various stitches and edgings. This workshop is suitable for all abilities. |

20th/21st June 2009 Two linked days | Summer Lariat Several beadweaving techniques will be used to make the various elements of this lariat. These elements can also be combined to make bracelets and other decorative items. The course will be run as a practical workshop with demonstrations and individual tuition and is suitable for all levels of ability. |
9th - 11th October Residential weekend | Jewelled Trinkets This course will use a variety of decorative beadwoven items for inspiration including jewellery and adaptations for Christmas decorations. The choice of projects will give plenty of scope for beginners or more experienced beadweavers. The course structure will be a practical workshop with demonstrations and individual tuition. |
12th/13th December Christmas Decorations | Christmas Decorations Make your own unique beaded ornaments. Choose from Christmas wreaths, angels, a candy cane and more. Several ornaments could be made in the two days, and others completed at home. The course will be run as a practical workshop with demonstrations and individual tuition and is suitable for all levels of ability. |
